The did a great job, very noce, bright and clean design, Extensive breakfast buffets either in the coffe shop on the ground floor or on the roof top, next to the pool. The room facing the beach with a large balcony was they best feature, catching the sound of the waves on the beach. The interior of the room was dated and could have done with modernizing, especially as this was one of the premier suites.
Breakfast was fantastic, which was made by the great attitude of the breakfast staff.

Nice hotel, not cheap but OK. Absolutely must is the breakfast and excellent buffet for dinner. I would recomend it over the majority of the Copacabana Hotel restaurants.

We were concerned on reading some reviews but found this hotel excellent. Yes there is building work but this has to be done and did not affect us. The service, position and breakfast food /service was great. The view etc from the top floor pool/bar area must be one of the best in the area.

Not a Pestana by any means; decor is good; their food is the worst in all Rio..... better off at any botequim nearby with poor reviews.
treated like cattle, and at €1100.00 per night, was expecting something else.
if in Copacabana.... keeping the Palace at a lower rate the overall experience is totally diferent.
