Excellent breakfast, room was clean with a nice view to 'Corcovado'. Free WiFi but you need to enable it everyday and it didn't work by the pool area on the rooftop (fantastic view though). The location is good, you can eat well around that area without having to spend a lot (loads of 'by kilograms' places) and there are many... More

The receptionists don't bother in explaining anything, like which forms are we filling, what time are the check in and the check out, which floor was our room... A smile was something impossible for them. When they HAD to speak, because they have been asked questions, they spoke in a very low voice, so low that we couldn't even hear... More

A good choice if you want to save some money (still is expensive for what it is). The area seems safe and quiet. The rooms are pretty big and has a sauna in the bathroom. Ideal for coming with your familly.

Hotel in a good location in a quiet and safe neighborhood, a few blocks from the beach. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms quite large, ordinary equipped, clean and tidy. Breakfast is quite good, although repetitive, always fresh fruit. The rooftop pool with a very nice view. Some rooms overlooking Cristo Redentor.

Having read mixed reviews about this hotel, I had not set my expectations too high and was actually pleasantly surprised. The staff spoke enough English to check in etc without any complications. The room, although quite basic as we were expecting, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was very good. We did not use the pool, although we... More

It's located 10min walk from copacabana. the price is a little to high for the standard. most of staff i s friendly. breakfast is ok, but just ok. if you like eggs for breakfast you will get scrambled that tastes like paper and sousages taste like lard with flour... but there is much more to choose from. the elevator makes... I don't have a great comparison for hotels in Rio and was there during Carnival, but I have to think there are better options. Everything was a bit antiquated, but the rooms were generally clean. Amenities are fairly minimal, but the small rooftop pool was a nice place to relax and meet other travelers especially when the beaches were so... More

I have stayed in the hotel during the carnival 2013. The reception lady was very kind and after asking for a nice room we have been given one on the 10th floor with the view on the statue. It was amazing! The room was spacious and very clean. Swimming pool on the 15th floor just marvellous. All the hotel staff... More

The standard is pretty low, especially as it's advertised as 4* hotel. I certainly would not come back, but there are apparently no hotels which are priced reasonable in Rio :-( Only good thing is the location which is pretty close to the Copacabana.

We staid during New Year celebration. All hotels in Copacabana was too expensive compare to their real value. Compare to others it had quite good price. But we overpaid, totally!!! Good for sleeping during the night, nothing more. Never return there. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff.
