I must admit I was a bit nervous of the room/apartment that awaited us since some of the reviews were not really positive but I had booked it since we needed the extra room as there were five in our family. (Children aged 16,15 and 11.) Two rooms in a hotel gets expensive. When the door opened I was pleasantly... More

Spacious apartment, bathroom in need of repairs and the AC needs to be updated to 2012, but still... it chills just fine. It's not a "comfort-first" kind of hotel, you wouldn't want to just lie in bed for a few hours (not just because the beds aren't that great, but this hotel is not up to most, if not all,... More

Starting with the positives: great location, great shower, good coffee in the lobby and a great top floor view. But this hotel is not up to Mercure standards. My A-club silver status was not acknowledged in any sense (my colleagues don't have status but all had a larger room). Checking in and checking out is a challenge, confusion with the... More

despite the good location and the room size the overall service is not so good as expected for a Mercure Hotel and the prices. There are no service-lifts so all the employees are in the same lift with the guest ... so it's normal to be in the same lift of the trash and used towels ,,, the breakfast quality... More

The main selling point is the location AND the fact that these Apart-Hotels are VERY VERY BIG!! I would say the average size is about 700 square feet! They have an enclosed kitchen with FULL SIZE STOVE, FULL SIZE SINK, FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR, Dining area, living room, hallway to bedroom with is VERY BIG with GIGANTIC closet and bed and... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The position is very central in one of the smartest area of town (so do not expect bars and wild night life nearby) The flats (we rented two of them) were large and comfortable with one exception of the bathrooms which are VERY VERY old. The bed was very large and VERY... More

Location, location, location. The building and apartments are old and need full renovation. Elevators are small, slow and always crowded. Extremely expensive for the facilities offered. Only choose this hotel for the location. More

This is a apart/hotel where the majority of the rooms are suites. The best part of the hotel is the location, beach is 2 blocks away, lots of restaurants nearby and in the heart of Leblon, OK negatives.... a little too many, lets start with the worn down condition of the hotel lobby and rooms. It looks as if the... More
