We stayed one night at the Bernidorm Palace and were very satisfied. The hotel rooms are quite big and even though the hotel is not with a view to the sea, you can walk down to Copacabana Beach in less than five minutes. The price of 300 R$ for a double room of this quality is cheap for Rio. The... More

We had to book this option during the Carnival. So... The extremellllly outpfdated hotel is 2* with disgusting service. Reception staff, room service, bellmen etc. all of them were so average and never smiley. Our room was a Deluxe, but it absolutely not worth any money. You can listen all conversation around, include staff room from 7am, etc. overpriced, they... More

This hotel is well situated 2 streets down from Copacabana beach (couple minutes walk), Good value for money if you compare to some of the overpriced hotels on the Copacabana beach. Spacious rooms, clean and freindly staff. More

The hotel is average but it's difficult to find something better in Rio de Janeiro for its price. Although it is quite old, the hotel is well maintained. Staff service is kindly - although not above the average. The same you could say about breakfast. Location is not bad (although quite far from the beach, about 6 blocks) but it's... More

We spent one night here on our last day in Brazil. Seemed reasonably close to stuff and reasonably safe. For reasons we don't know we were upgraded to a suite (had a sauna in the bathroom!!!). It was spacious and VERY comfrotable. We were hungry and tired and ordered room service. The lack of english/porteguese caused us to end up... More

Overpriced, horrible hotel in grotty back-streets. 4 stars? I don't think so - 2 maybe. The pool and the gym are a health hazard. The beds are like rocks. Avoid this place like the plague. More

A good place to stay if like to have plenty of space. Generally satisfied, even there was to much problems with the wi-fi. In my opinion hotels in this price-range should have cable in every room!! More

We spent one night here when we got stuck due to the ash cloud over Argentina. It has a good price / rating = value ratio. The rooms are very large. Everything is ok, no complaints, yet nothing extraordinary. Good if you're looking for a nice place at a low price. More
