Camilo and Edwardo are very friendly and flexible and prompt to my request of room view preference and late check out. As to value of money paid, it is worth it as I compare it with the second hotel where I stayed. Upselling for a city tour was effective as I ended up purchasing it and the service was overdelivered..I... More

The location is good as long as you don't expect to be in the middle of the flash folk in Ipanema, a good 5km away. It seems more Leme than anything, but it's still only one small block from the amazing beach! The staff are really lovely and will help you without being asked and the breakfasts were the best... This was a last minute booking for our last night in Rio and proved to be a commendable choice. It’s location 1 block from Copacabana beach – Sugarloaf end - and nestled behind the enormous landmark of the Windsor Hotel (visible from the other end of the beach) was certainly a strong start, despite some fairly heavy street noise. The... More

Nice location, but small and old bedrooms - I have stayed in better places for the same price and would not recommend it. The breakfast is OK, the room service food isn´t. More

Stayed a week before the Carnival. Great place to stay: specious rooms, clean, great breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. The hotel is a second away from the beach and all busses that can take you anywhere in Rio. Subway is 10 mins away - very close... One advise: if you can get room with street view, get it. My... The location of this hotel was prime - on the Copacabana, but you can walk to Leme or Ipanema (not sure if I would reccomend the walk, though). The room was spacious enough, but our room faced a wall. So no view there. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. The staff - could have been more helpful - we were... More

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights during Carnaval. Location is good (East of Copacabana) in Leme, a residential neighborhood that was fairly quiet for Rio. It’s less than 100 meters from the beach and across one of the biggest hotels of Rio, which blocks any view. You have to move quite a bit to go to the best restaurants,... More

The staff at the hotel is amazing!! We had lost luggage. The hotel staff called the airport for us numerous times and accepted the luggage on our behalf. They even helped us find the number for AA that didn't cost money. They went above and beyond their duty. More

My friends and i booked this due to the cheapest rate during Carnival 2012. As non eof us had been Brazil b4 it turned out to be the best spot, a road away from main buses, beach and other cities. The hotel reception was helpful and could speak English, my only tip would be not to let them grab a... More
