I really like this hotel, has everything that I look for in a Hotel for business: Clean, quiet, good service and good breakfast. The TV is really small and the air conditioner is noisy, but not enough to bores me. I don't like Rio de Janeiro downtown, but if you have no choose, this hotel is worthy of you money.

Having arrived after a 19 hour journey I thought I would get some sleep!! Only to be woken up with doors banging and people constantly talking. Then to top that the bin wagon rolled up at 3am outside my window. So not much sleep

The hotel is well located for those, like me, travel to Rio for business. It is smack in the centre of the city and half a block from the "cinelandia" subway station. That is a plus. Also, it is a short walk to the Lapa bohemian sector with tons of bars. I have to also say that the people there... More

Hotel in downtown. Localization very good. Rooms clean and tidy. Some of the rooms very small with old small TVs. Other rooms bigger and with better equipment. Week internet on some floors, last floors - no internet at all. 3rd floor above kitchen - very loudy. Lot of noice from streets. Restaurant OK. Food OK. Most of hotel staff -... More

Old building with very basic rooms. If you are on business in the area for 1 night, this will do. Not more than that though.. Expensive for what you get but it's average for Rio Average breakfast too

Stay here if you want to be woken up at the crack of dawn by the staff yelling at the top of their voices at each other up and down the galleried stair cases. Also stay here if you like bad internet connections and rude receptionists. The hotel is badly in need of some refurbishment and is over-priced for what... More

The staff were really good. The room size was quite fair but the food was crap, small and limited choice. The price was overcharged and in a location that apart from the day we saw the carnival which was handy, we would prefer to be near a each where there are shops and action, sun and fun. We paid extra... More

I was not looking forward to staying in the Hotel O.K., but it was where our tour congregated. I was very pleasantly surprised! Yes - it has passed its glory days, but it is being modernized (e.g. Bathrooms), and was very well located for some of the Carnaval Street Parties - Branco and Lapa. The breakfast is a bit limited,... More

Ok my God... I should fire my secretary! Even if I wanted only one bed and shower, any backpacking hostel is better that this. Once inside you feel like you´re back to 70´s. Extremely outdated property, furniture, amenities. Terrible neighbourhood, close to the most dangerous downtown part of Rio. You cannot walk after 8pm unless you have a machine gun.... More

I recently may a booking with Hotels.com for a night at the OK Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, and choose this hotel in downtown because most hotels in Copabana or the beach area were sold out. Upon my arrival at the hotel presented the email to Mr Ricardo Rongel (front desk clerk) First he looked to me and my partner... More
