This hotel provided a comfortable bed in a hectic week of travelling around Brazil. The reception service was slow, leading to the bar being closed by the time we checked in at 11. That said the rooms were fairly comfortable and the breakfast adequate if a little unexciting by brazilian standards.

Stayed in this hotel more than 15 times through the last 3 years, I have had normal rooms (a bit small but clean and efficiently designed), the suites which have a second area with another tv and a couch and table with chairs, the superior suites on the 16th floor (numbers 1605 and 1608) which are really nice, my favorites,... Stayed here one night on a business trip - it's not fancy but it was clean and the room service meal was surprisingly good. My Brazilian colleagues said this was the best place to say in SJDC and that seems right to me.
