This hotel is in a great location right on "bunata" (the Balchik boardwalk which is actually made of concrete). However, it felt like it was built at least 30 years ago and neglected since then. It didn't feel particularly clean and it could definitely use a bunch of renovation. Not impressed. Would look for something else next time.

The hotel is located pretty much in the heart of the small Black Sea resort of Balchik. As such, it is close to many good restaurants, and a few bars (the best being the Irish Rover). Location is very good, rooms with beautiful seaview over the golf. For a young couple not much you can do. The beach is very far from the hotel. Francis Drake and El Simpatico restaurants are OK. Waiters do not understand romanian and neither the reception staff. Max 2 or 3 days for a short holiday or city break is OK.
