This could simply be the best place to stay in Myanmar when visiting Inle Lake! Pros: 1. Cosy wooden bungalow 2. Nice view of rolling green hills from the bungalow 3. Great breakfast! (My gf loved the pancakes especially! And so did I!) 4. Friendly management - ask them anything and they will help you if they can! 5. Very... More

A lovely place, with a very nice owners and staff! Great pancakes for the breakfast and refreshing natural juices every evening! A nice pool. Old bikes, but free. A great place to spend a fantastic, and not expensive, days, in a "home" atmosphere. More

Really, really enjoyed this place. We also really enjoyed Nyaungshwe, and were so happy that we decided to not stay on the lake (although I am sure, that is wonderful as well). The rooms were basic, clean, and pretty roomy for a bungalow. Service was top-notch. Be sure to get a mountain view, it was beautiful. Breakfast was tasty. Great... More

We had originally booked to stay here for 3 nights but left after one. We were woke up by the noise from the adjoining bungalow. We tried to sleep through it but couldn't. After we'd been round to speak to a couple of our fellow countrymen it was OK but rather than risk another disturbed night we moved to another... More

Our stay at the Princess Garden was excellent from beginning to end. The hotel is small and the staff extremely friendly. We were greeted from the taxi with a welcome sign and freshly squeezed juice. The room was actually a bungalow with a small verandah looking out over the fields. The hotel has a very pleasant swimming pool and an... More

Every time you arrive from biking or wandering around, a helpful member of the staff will offer you a fruit smothie, which you can enjoy laying back in the pool. Location is convenient, services is good quality (nice breakfast), and you can use the bikes. Would stay again for sure. Plus, the pool is just fantastic. More

our plan were only to stay a night or two at inle lake, but we ended up staying 5 nights at inle lake (4 at the Princess Garden Hotel) - mainly due to the tranquillity of this hotel. After our first night at another hotel in the city, we decide to change hotels and literally visited every hotel in the... More

We stayed 3 nights here and we liked it a lot! The bungalows are basic but nice. The owners are a very funny couple, they were really helpfull . Bikes are for free and the pool was a refreshment after our tours, that is not so common in myanmar. We got a drink or milkschake in the afternoon and the... More

For us the highlight of our trip. Fantastic bungalows located a short walk or bike ride down the canal from the 'town'. Peaceful, relaxing, calm. The owners were welcoming and extremely helpful in planning activities. The information book they provided in the room was extremely helpful with suggested itineraries and price guides for what you should be paying for boat... More
