“Basic rooms okay, but atmosphere not inspiring”

Spend one night coming from Bagan on our way to Inle lake. Many cottages arranged in rows, each of them with a small balcony. While the room was okay (clean, enough space, etc.), the treatment of the guests was somehow uninspiring and very neutral.
