I should call this my home in Battambang. Each time i went to Battambang, i usually stayed in this hotel. Good location, just 5 minutes walk from bus station (either Capitol or Soriya), and close to Phsar Nat market which is very convenience for shopping. Nice pool, nice room, comfortable bed. The staffs are friendly and helpful. On my check... More

You are never going to find the Ritz in Battambang - which is nevertheless a charming place. But as one amongst a basic range of hotels, the Stung Sangka has a good swimming pool open till 8pm (great after a hot climb up hundreds of temple steps!), and it not far from the centre of town for restaurants and bars... Stayed one night here in November 2011 and really don't think stating another night would have been welcomed by anyone in our party. Hotel was clean, rooms decent size but really thats about it. The aircon had been switched off in our room so it took an age to cool down (most unwelcome after a long trip) and the lifts... More

We ended up staying here on the recommendation of our tuk tuk driver ( not always a good idea but it worked well for us this time!). We have found our stay here very pleasant. The rooms are huge, well equipped and nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, wifi is reliable and very quick. The whole hotel seems well run and... More

The hotel is fine for business people in transit. We kind of ran here from the bus station to get away from the enslaught of tuk tuk drivers, and it was clean and well set up, with a nice pool. The aircon didn't work so we opened the window which was pretty stupid, but it was so bloody hot with... More

We stayed two nightspaying US$30 a night for B&B. The rooms are big and clean. The beds could sleep 6 people, they are enormous. Breakfast was a very regimented and 'corporate' buffet. You had to have a ticket! The food was pretty average compared to what we had elsewhere and annoyingly they had always run out of something. The building... More

Having just spent a few days in lovely but basic accommodation in Kep this was just what I needed, taking into account this is Cambodia I felt it was really quite plush, good breakfast and friendly staff. I met Mr Kim the Tuk tuk driver who took me for an excellent day out, killing caves etc and really very interesting... More

Well-managed and well-furnished hotel. Big and clean rooms with free wifi. So what? Everything is also very impersonal. The restaurant is spacious and clean with a big breakfast buffet, but the food is not tasty, the coffee is cold. Another downside is the location: the hotel is only 500 meters away from the downtown, but the streets of Battambang are... More
