In general, the hotel is nice and clean. The furnishing and bathroom amenities are basic. Some front-desk staff are friendly and helpful and some are not. If I cannot get what I am looking for, I would go to the other Kimal Hotel across the street or wait until a new person shows up. There is not much privacy in... More

This seemed like such a nice place to stay when we arrived. The casitas are charming and had basic amenities, but after our second dinner there half of our group ( 5 people) were ill. The staff did little to offer help or apologies in the way of the poor food, and instead suggested that we may have had altitude... More

Hello Desertrats_4, This is a very serious accusation, to be carefully weighed up by readers and I feel it would be important to consider the following facts and contrast them with the comments you make in your post: 1. On request of your group leader, on your second day, you were provided with a take-away lunch box which included -... More

There are some very high-end hotels in San Pedro. If you're looking for something a bit less expensive, this is a fine choice. The bungalows are very private. Breakfast is very good. Contrary to other reviews, we found service to be excellent. I had trouble every night lighting the heater, and they always came very promptly. We also had a... More

A different kind of hotel, with nice bungalows with a small terrace, and everything in natural materials. Really a cozy place to stay, near the centre but also very quiet. Good breakfast, really helpful staff and a nice small garden with a swimming pool.

The place is comfortable, and clean. They serve an excellent breakfast! The hotel is too close to the main street of the town, Caracoles, where you can rent bikes, find restaurants, buy artcrafts, and choose a travel agency for your destinations (Salar, lagunas, etc.)

A nice hotel, whose bungalows with veranda are clean and cosy. Excellent breakfast but, most important, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Also the restaurant is quite good. We spent wonderful days here!!

Really liked this hotel which has individual part daube huts as rooms but don't be put off as they are really nice. It is virtually on the main street unlike many of the hotels and that is extremely useful. We found the staff really helpful, especially as our tour company was extremely unreliable and required several telephone calls which the... More

The room is very comfortable, clean and nice. The hotel is very well located, closed to main streed Caracoles. But I was very disapointed with flexibility of the front desk in solving the guest issues. The hotel is zero customer oriented and the front desk people are not able to take any decision to meet the guests requirements. If try... More

I would like to thank you for your comments regarding the poor service you received during your stay with us last November. We took your experience very seriously and have sought to iron out the wrinkles that were behind the standard of customer service you received. I write now because there is now evidence in more recent critics that the... More

This was a really lovely stay in an overly touristy town. The service was outstanding - helpful, friendly and a couple of people really went out of their way to accommodate an unusual need. We had a friend pass away back home and wanted to attend the online service so they went to trouble to set up a computer for... More

It´s very good to hear that on the whole your stay in San Pedro was enjoyable and you clearly have a positive memory despite the most regrettable loss of your cosmetics and homeopathic remedies. However we were most concerned about this loss, because lack of security has not usually been a characteristic of our hotel before or since your stay.... More

Very central in this busy town. Individual chalets in wood and straw, reached by boardwalk. Comfortable. Cool in the eening, but there is a gas fire. Be aware of the altitude - drink lots of water, and eat light meals at night. Didn't try the restaurant as the choice in the main street was large.
