Thank you for making our first trip to Birmingham wonderful and helping me get a handicap accessible room at the wedding party discount! My husband and I came for our friend's wedding at the Botanical Gardens and we were thoroughly impressed with not only the area but the service of the staff and the beauty of the hotel.

We visited in May 2013. While the outside of the hotel looks lovely, and the main areas are nicely renovated, the room itself was disgusting. My husband was returning from a month-long business trip and I wanted a lovely place to stay the night he came back. The hotel staff was very helpful in making my stay both affordable and very pleasant. The historic hotel was lovely and everything I remembered from growing up in Birmingham.

Lovely, well maintained hotel. The nicest Hampton I have ever stayed at. Very nice bar on lobby level. Staff was great and very accommodating. I had a car full of stuff and asked the valet to keep it in teh lobby spaces overnight and they obliged. I will stay here again when in the area. Breakfast area kept very clean.

Can't beat the location for bank business. Nice enough. Service in restaurant is a little slow. Food is decent. Enjoy the historic photos every time. Hope gym remodel is done soon. Cookies are often gone before I finish meetings. However coffee & tea in side lobby area are nice touch.

Hotel was nice - staff was nicer! Room was surprisingly large for a Hampton. Hotel and restaurant staff was friendly and attentive, food was also above par for a hotel restaurant. Bar open till midnight. Only downfall is no on-site parking - street or valet are your only options. I plan on staying here for my next trip to Birmingham.
