I have spent one week in holiday with my friends in the Pharos hotel. The building is old, dirty. The bath was flooding after each shower, the fan of the bath was terrible noisy waking the neighbors at night. I reported these problems to the customer responsible but he said me "sorry this is a two stars hotel I can't...

We found the hotel to be poor and expensive given the standard. There was no air conditioning and it was difficult to sleep at night for both the heat and the noise coming from a close disco. The rooms were small and in need for a refurbishment. Only good thing was the location and the fact that they had rooms...

For a 2-star rating, this hotel is just fine. It's a short walk to the centre of Hvar and is located on the top of a hill from where you have brilliant views to Paklenski islands. The beach is just another short walk away and if you don't feel like moving about, the hotel pool is fine. Pharos hotel is...

We needed a cheap, last minute spot in Hvar and this fit the bill. That's about the only reason I would recommend it. It's a hike up the hill to the hotel, though it does offer parking if you have a car. We actually went to the noisy disco :) but our room was on the back side of the...

Horrible hotel. The people were very frinedly, the place is nice, but for the price is no good at all. We were not able to eat there; the food was horrible, also the breakfast, cheaper than Lidl, bad ham, very bad coffee, horrible cheese... and for dinner lever, bad rice, Maggy soup from the tin...
The rooms were not very...

Accommodation in Hvar is really expensive. Espesially if you`re a family of 4. It is very hard to find familyrooms and then you`ll need 2 rooms which of course makes it twice as expencive!!!. We decided to take a chance on Hotel Pharos as we were provided with a family room at a reasonable rate and it even had a...

It's non renovated hotel, but still comfortable, with nice staff, always ready to help you and to make you feel comfortable. No air-condition and tv! Family rooms are nice and simple but clean. They change towels every day. Food is also good and there is a big choice for dinner. Position is exellent because it is in woods, but very...

Agree wholeheartedly with a previous reviewer - hotel ok - no a/c - no offers of fans.
DEAFENING nightclub which woke us repeatedly. Awful music.
Fab location but not worth the money because of the NOISE and lack of fans.
Those sausages - three days - couldn't bring myself to eat them.

First of all, the price was indeed reasonable, and the hotel is very close to the city centre; a 5 minute walk will take you right down to the waterfront. Same goes for the beach, a 5 minute walk and you´re there.
The pool did seem fairly clean, but there was an abysmal shortage of beach/sun chairs. Far too few...

Hereby we would like to address the issues which you have brought up in your review, such as the noise from nearby disco.
