The 20 minute walk out of Makarska is all worth while (although not dragging your suitcase at the same time is recommended!) when you arrive at this small guesthouse just on the foothills of Mt. We stayed in Mlinice Boarding House on the mountain above Makarska. This pension style 'Boarding House' sits proudly above Makarska with some amazing views out to the Adriatic. The house is surrounded by an olive grove and there are also various fruit trees such as orange and lemon. It really is a pretty peaceful setting. The rooms are very comfortable.... More
