Beautiful sunset view, right on the beach (beware, it's buggy). Top shelf bar and excellent restaurant. Comfortable room, reasonable rates. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place and friendliness of the staff. Well done.

We were at Blue Bahia in September & December of 2011 for a week each. This trip, 4/28/12 to 5/12/12, was 2 weeks. GREAT food, helpful loving people, just totally laid back. Real family atmosphere. We've already booked a return for October of this year.
We've made friends of the staff & stay in touch with them. Lots of Americans...

Come to Roatan to learn about the plight of the island's children. In this paradise only one in four children ever attend school. The owner of Blue Bahia, Kent, is a humanitarian who has dedicated himself to supporting education and the people of Roatan. This is a wonderful resort with a first class restaurant and an amazing staff but I...

We stayed 10 days At Blue Bahia in April. There are 9 units and we stayed in one of the nicest with a kitchen called Stary Nights..Kent and ALL of his staff were just wonderful, friendly and very helpful with all our needs and any touring arrangements..The scuba-snorkling dive center is right there and will take you out to the...

I had the tough job of researching a trip for 3 families going to Roatan. When I came across the Blue Bahia and all the positive reviews I thought this is impossible for a place to get such good reviews. After staying there 2.5 weeks for all 12 of us I see what everyone was talking about.
Kent and his...

Roatan has many lodging types available. At check-in at the Blue Bahia, you do not get a wristband, you do not get a computerized folio, you do not get a list of “do’s and don’ts” and you do not become a number. You get a warm welcome, a relaxed introduction and you become part of their resort family. Kent, Sonia,...

The staff and the accommodations make this the most relaxing place to stay in Roatan. Kent oversees the evening restaurant activities, and every meal is outstanding. If you're not completely happy with his food or the rooms he will make it right. Sonia and Randy are the best! They serve outstanding food and drinks. Sonia even made a new drink...

it is centrally located in peaceful Sandy Bay area, close to shopping and all the "touristy stuff" but with a quiet beach uneffected by the hordes of cruise shippers (many times we had the whole beach to ourselves!)
the snorkeling around the Blue Bahia is unbelievable! we saw more here snorkeling than our friends did...

Just got back from a fantastic 8 days there. The location was perfect - snorkel and diving right there, nice rooms, amazing food, but above all, it is the dedication of the staff that makes this place so special. The owner, Kent, and his entire team treats you like family. They are committed to their guests having a great experience...

Our family of 4 with 2 teens stayed here in July for 9 days. What a great time we had! Kent was a wonderful host and his staff did an excellent job. Kent, a well-seasoned businessman, knows the importance of client relations (i.e. he made my daughter's birthday meal special and when my son was sick gave him good advice...
