This hotel is situated at the highest point in Munnar, so the view is really beautiful. As the location is high up the mountain, the road is narrow and windy, and cars normally don't pass through at night (after 6pm, not advisable). We stayed here during our trip to Kerala in Sep'11. And it was most adventurous experience getting to the resort. Location is awesome with breathtaking view of valley / mountains from room. Staff was friendly and was accommodating enough to arrange for a bonfire dinner just for us !

great experience, reasonably priced. good view from most of the room. decent food. good part is it is at good height and little discounted with main market. if u wish to stay deserted... service & hospitality great. overall exp was good... and I recommend, traveler can enjoy their stay.

In Deshadan resort, each evening and morning, we literally experienced walking through the clouds!
