We stayed one night (too short!) in February 2012 and we liked it a lot. Very welcoming, very good food prepared by the family. Rooms are rather functional, but clean (we had a room on the first floor). The garden around the house is very beautiful. Good b&b in India in a very nice region.

We appreciated very much this homestay. The first floor room we got was nice ;the welcome of the family( parents and kids) was excellent. The cooking was really tasty and plentiful. we liked too taste products of the garden. The visit of the garden with Joseph Tomy was nice.

We had booked a "Deluxe Room" for only one night and we had decided to move around Kerala a lot during our short stay. We never got to see what a "Deluxe Room" was, since we were parked in the basement, with a view on the electrical generator (or sthg), the ground and the stairs to the parking - not... More

The reviewer is not booked in my house. Other two couple book my room. She also joined and stay in same room. The fault is I will allowed her to stay in the same. room and joining the Dinner and Breakfast. She not agreed to give extra money to me.I noted any one not booked , not allowed to stay. More

Spent three night being looked after by the lovely Tomy family at this great Homestay just 10km west of Munnar. The rooms were lovely and clean, spacious and with a great varandah looking over the little spice gardens and nursery at the south facing side of the home. Wonderful food prepared using many home grown ingredients by Mrs. Rajee Tomy.... More

What a pleasure our stay at RoseGardens. We'll never forget the warm greeting from Rajee, Tomy and the young boy, also the wonderful garden, flowers and spice plants. From the healthy breakfast to the dinner, everything was so tasty with the fine smell of the spicy fragrance. The nights were so nice and quiet. We felt like we were with... More

I spent 3 days in Rose Garden, and this has been a very good experience. The family is nice and caring, always willing to help and looking forward to pleasing the guests. The cooking of the Mistress of the House is beautiful, diverse, abundant and this has definitely been a high pitch of my stay. My room was quite simple... More

Had a great time at Tomy's home stay and would recommend to anyone. The food was amazing and the rooms were big and clean. Highlight was sitting outside on the balcony on a warm evening and watching fireflies go past! The tour of the garden was a welcome addition and the fresh coffee a definite bonus. The only slight thing... More

I thoroughly enjoyed Tommy and Ragee'd warm hospitality and excellent nourishing homegrown food, so delicious, also excellent coffee and cumin tea. The large garden offers a treat with such diverse plants, trees, bee hives, herbs and spices, and an aray of flowers. Very comfortable rooms and verandas offering a cool to retreat from the heat.

The entrance to the Rose Gardens is beautiful, with a nursery containing a variety of flowers for sale besides the wonderful old cottage. The home of Tomy and Rajee (our lovely hosts) is equally as nice but also cool inside. The hallway from the entrance leads all the way to the balcony overlooking the garden which is what makes this... More

I'm typically sceptical about places with gushing reviews but Rose Gardens deserves all that has been said about it. Tommy and family are so welcoming but without being interfering. The breakfasts and dinners varied significantly over our 3 night stay so no danger of getting bored. All were home cooked and no worries about being hungry. Tommy's garden, where most... More
