Stayed there last week (13th April - 14th April) - which is an off season for the resort. There was harvested wheat in the fields, green lawns, chirping birds, mountains in the distance - all combining to infuse your being with peace and tranquillity - its a 20 acre of paradise. And due to off season, there were only 2... More

An amazing hotel with exceptionally warm hosts and a great property with a splendid lake which is, as previously mentioned, a birdwatcher's paradise. The tents are comfortable, and kept cozy by heaters provided by the hotel. The huge lawn is perfect for families with kids to play in. The property is extremely close to the main town of Bundi but... The Ummaid Bagh Resorts is at a nice and quiet location at 2 kms from Bundi and the owner and staff are friendly. However, our tent did not look like on their website, the carpet was in a bad condition, the bathroom old and guesthouse-standard, but not of a 60-Euro-Accomodation (4000 Rupies). We could change from the tent to a... More

We didn't actually stay at the Ummaid Bagh Resort, but were told about it by our guide in Bundi, who knew we were interested in birds. We caught a rickshaw out there from town (about 15 minutes) and were greeted by the proprietor, Maharaja Rajendra Singh Dugari, who joined us for a beer while we watched for birds on the... More
