Cinnabar was everything we expected and more. Vasu and Bala went out of their way to interact with us and make our stay comfortable. This is a true home-stay experience and not for those looking to keep to themselves. There are just the two rooms, which are separate from the main house. Vasu and Bala serve you breakfast and evening... More

Vasu and Bala friendly, helpful, and such fun to be with. Their rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful-decorated with Vasu's art and eye for detail. They are organic farmers, cheesemakers, cattle raisers. Most of the food they prepared is from their garden and at the least, locally produced. They took us through a gourmet food experience, starting in the Middle East, then... More

Our hosts at Cinnabar greeted us warmly upon our arrival. They are full of energy and immediately make you feel at home. Our room was quite large and bright with a very well appointed bathroom. Bala and Vasu are a very accomplished couple, well travelled and knowledgable about many things from organic farming to cheese making. There was never a... More

From the point where I first emailed Cinnabar Homestay, and got a charming reply from owner Bala, I was looking forward to staying at Cinnabar. It did not disappoint. Let's stress one thing first: this is a proper Homestay, with a proper family. It is not a glorified guest-house where the owners may greet you and you are then served... More

Me and my wife had a fantastic stay at Cinnabar. Our perfect host made sure we felt like home and provided great hiking maps around the area(exactly what we needed). We also really appreciated their dedication to being eco friendly(cinnabar does rain water harvesting among a bunch of other things). The place is situated at a walkable distance from the... More

An absolutely delightful Homestay! Bala and Vasu's hospitality knocked us out. The food was exceptional right down to the homemade Granola, refreshing tomato juice from their organic garden and the freshly baked bread each morning to the varied menus each night. We were delighted to be in the company of an organic farmer, cheesemaker and an amazing chef and wonderful... More

Not once did we feel that we were paying guests at Vasu and Bala's Cinnabar Farms. It felt as though we were visiting friends! Walking into Cinnabar is like walking into a home with the welcoming smell of baking (And there was that plenty in fact!). The warmth, the caring, the wish to see guests happy reaches one in waves...
