This must certainly be the biggest dump in all of Thailand. It all started with the taxi ride, sitting at the back of a pickup truck with the luggage for a 30 minute trip in the rain. peaceful / good accomodation / easy access to the beach, seafood restaurants, snorkeling trips, etc./ above all it's run by the most charming family -occassionaly aided by a small monkey called Jackie Chan :-)

More than a dozen spacious bungalows around a central courtyard, 100m above the main West Coast Highway 15km south of the ferry terminal. Good value for accommodation/meals/motorcycle rental/laundry/etc., helpful management and friendly staff, clean. Access to beach, pool, and facilities of nearby Palace Beach Resort.
