This place is below average for the price you pay. The rooms were ok and the bathrooms were pretty nice. However everything here just seems outdated and messy. The door to our bungalow didn't even shut. From the outside there is a padlock on the door so every time you leave you have to lock the padlock but then the... More

When I booked with a travel agent before coming here, I specifically asked for a delux bungalow with a complete walk to the beach. I was willing to pay more to get that full experience to end my trip. I thought I was lucky when I got what I wanted for cheaper than I thought I would. When I got... More

The beach and the pool of this hotel are very pleasant, however the rooms really let the hotel down. We stayed in a bungalow by the pool and it felt like it was going to fall down. The walls and floor are made of paper. The bathroom.. Well it wasnt really a bathroom more a brick room with a pathetic... More

Our bungalow was absolutely tiny, it had a double bed and that's all, no shelves or pegs to hang anything so everything had to go in the floor. Felt really claustraphobic as the small windows didn't let any light in. The bathroom was just an outside toilet attached to your room. The resort restaurant is so overpriced compared to other... The staff is not efficient at all!!!! No advice, no free pick up service (except for online booking), discordant information, no travel agency. Concerning the price, they steal people who make online booking : you pay online 800 baths (fan room) or 1500 (air con room)/ at the pier a beater (paid by the resort) offer you 500 (fan) and... Power beach resort was included in a trip my boyfriend & I booked round part of Thailand, so we had no prior knowledge of the place. On arrival we were a bit disappointed that the resort was so far off the main road and as the restaurant is so over priced, being travellers we had to walk up and down... More

It is OK but vastly overpriced. There are 2 pools, pool table etc but the rooms are poor, the attached bathrooms are effectively an attached outhouse and there isn't room to sneaze in the bedroom. For 20GBP I was disgusted and after booking online and having to pay the full amount on arrival couldn't move. If you do stay here,... More

After having the experience of a very bad and horrible place we packed our staff and moved to the Power Beach Resort. I have to say that the cost/performance ratio is very fair at this place. We actually paid less then at our former place and got a way bigger room and a way bigger bathroom (deluxe room). The staff... More

Yes, it's cheap, but the staff should not be rude to paying customers. It's in the middle of no where and they will not give you the number of a taxi driver, so you are forced to pay crazy amounts for their hotel vans. Avoid avoid avoid! More

Stayed for the full moon party in September 2011 for twon nights. Rooms are extremely basic. There was air-conditioning and that was the best thing about the room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the on-site restaurant served both Thai and western food and was very reasonably priced. The price for accommodation isn't really worth it. It's located by a...
