Hostel itself is very basic and not 100% clean but the location itself makes up for it! We came back to the hostel a few times during the full moon party to get money etc...only 5 mins to the beach! The real gem is Yan, an incredibly wise and friendly man who will go above and beyond for you!

Got completely ripped off by Yan: turned up 2 days before Full Moon and he left us waiting for 2 hours, telling us the room was being prepared before then changing his story to that of him being fully booked. Ideal for the full moon party, Yan is a legend (and slightly crazy), he's constantly running around making sure his guests are happy and comfortable. There's always food waiting on the cooker and he'll offer to do your laundry for free. As for the dorm room, it's a bit cramped and the matresses are about as hard as the wood... More

Stayed here with 3 friends during the Full Moon Party in June 2012. It was great fun, a chilled place and Yan works really hard to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again should I ever be back on Koh Phangan.
