There is much left wanting in this hotel. Many other people's reviews on TripAdvisor swing between extremes but I feel the truth sits somewhere in the middle. In this price range however it's probably not good enough. The hotel itself is tucked away in the backstreets of Phi Phi Don - 5-10min from the ferry pier and 5min from the... More

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past four or five years, and each time it was a good experience. Takes a little while to get to the hotel from the ferry pier (maybe a five or ten minute walk through crowded streets with our luggage), but the location is pretty good -- kind of in the middle of... I thought I was paying for a nice hotel for a few quiet days on the beautiful Phi Phi Island. I was sadly mistaken. I am not sure what market they are targeting but I sure didn't feel like I was it. It is a no smoking hotel - I didn't know that and don't smoke but I had the... More

Palm Tree resort is the worst place and most expensive one we've stayed in during our 3 weeks trip in Thailand and Cambodia. The staff there is the rudest we've got the chance to meet –it seems like the members were in the middle of some competition between them - who could be the most unkind one. We wrote them... More

I wouldn't have minded if i'd payed have the price but we payed over the odds for a distinctly average hotel. Worst place we stayed in Thailand & most exspensive! If we'd payed half the price I may have rated it but the staff were miserable so unusual from what we'd experienced every where else in the country & on... More

Terrible experience in this resort - if you can call it one. Staff at front desk extremely rude and very aggressive, they don't check you in unless you've printed and carried the voucher, they have a VERY strict 2 person to a room policy we weren't aware of and wanted us to buy an extra room for the third person.... HOtel was nice - simple and a bit older but does the job. Very close to all the festivities of Tonsai Bay. Dont choose this hotel if you're expecting a relaxing getaway, try the other side of the island, but DO chose this hotel if you you need somewhere comfortable and convinient. Breakfast wasnt all that impressive, and the pool... More

Central but away from the noisiest area (especially at night). Very good service, breakfast is varied and of good quality, the staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are nicely furnished and with central control light switches and alarm. In addition to breakfast, it seemed not to have another meal service, but with the provision that exists around is... We stayed at the P.P.Palm tree resort for 5 nights in July, and we thought it was a great hotel. It is more like a boutique resort, as it has around 65 rooms, but the resort is of an exceptional standard! We had booked the pool access room and i would have no hesitation in recomending these rooms, as it... More

We visited Phi2 island on our short getaway... Phi2 palm tree itself complemented our lovely vacation. These are the few good things about this place: - beautiful, modern and comfortable room - a good variety of cooked breakfast - pool side rooms that enables you to jump right into the pool from your room A good choice if you opt...
