We arived to Amulet at 11pm. The receptionist Shukhrat was extremely helpful, energetic and kind. As we missed our dinner, he offered us a green tea with bread and jam... The room was authentic, clean and cosy. Bathroom is modern and clean. Few scratches here and there, but absolutely the best from what we had during Khiva-Bukhara-Samarkand trip. What I like... More

The Amulet is a stunning old property, with the rooms set around a central courtyard. The rooms are simply, but comfortably decorated and the bathrooms nice. There are some great seats out on the balcony for relaxing and enjoying the sun and breakfast is also lovely. The people who run it really went out of their way to make our... More

The appearance was unassuming, but once inside, you will find a very quaint and decent accommodation. The decor was stylish in a local ancient fashion, and you really enjoy the comfort, especially after a day of sauntering in the city. The host is a very kind-hearted and polite guy and the breakfast is definitely a highlight, not buffet-type, but still... More

I arrived in the courtyard very tired at 8pm and was offered free tea, nibblies and a game of backgammon. The room was clean and comfortable with aircon, fridge and TV with English news channels. The most pleasant surprise, after the previous two Uzbek hotels (which were far inferior yet more expensive), was finding a full western bathroom with no... More

The Amulet hotel is located in a calm area of the historic center of Bukhara. It is actually in an old madrassah that has been restored and renovated. The rooms are decorated in a typical Uzbek style and due the brick walls always remain cool, even during the hottest days of summer. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff very... More

I stayed there 2 nights with my mother. It is very close from the Liab i khouz. It is an old madrassa ( islamic shool) that was very nicely renovated and decorated. The rooms have AC, great decoration with traditional art and craft and natural things made out of wood. The breakfast is very nice. The welcome is great. It... More

This B&B is located 5 minutes walk from Lyabi-Hauz. We stayed in a twin-bed room for 50$ per night per room including breakfast. Our room is very clean (especially the bathroom; it was also brand-new) and nicely decorated. Heating was also functioning properly. Breakfast was really delicious, too! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager also helped... More

The hotel is really very nice, so authentic and cozy. Hotel staff is very helpful and hospitable - they organized a city tour for us and a cooking class of local pilaf right in the yard. The small features (like tea and snacks served in the inner yard or room with a local "fireplace" or small library with old books)... More
