We were welcomed with a fresh iced passion fruit juice and incredibly friendly and able staff. Our room had a stunning view of the crater. The surroundings are peaceful and there is a true sense of serenity in the camp. Rooms are simple tented lodges with comfortable beds and warm water. The restaurant area is beautiful, again simple with a... More

We spent 2 nights here in Jan 2013. The view is amazing, the food excellent and the service is superb. The staff really put in the extra effort to make sure everything is right. The management were able to book us a car and driver to take us to Nakuru national park, a short drive away, they provided provided a... More

The view out of the tent to wide area of Nakuru is outstandig. It is a paradise in Nakuru. The staff is friendly and if you will see a paper rose at your table, its the result of a training ;) The food is really good and the cat is so nice. The price for one night is ok. We... More

I came here with my parents, and it was really a special place. We stayed in a VERY roomy tent-house, simple but very comfortable. The hot water and electricity were plenty, and the food was really yummy. They served a mix of African-style food (not exactly local, but locally inspired) and creative western food, which we all really loved. But... More

We were here for two nights. the location itself of the tented camps is magnificent, sitting on the rim of the Menengai Crater in the Rift Valley, The reception and dining/bar area was very cosy with dim lighting but it really needed more light. Our tent was fine though the interior could have been better decorated. the curtains looked very... More

Spent a night at this beautiful camp tucked on the lip of the Menengai crater offering superb views. The camp itself is basic without compromising on the quality of service and offerings. Staff exceedingly superb in their service and attention-they went out of their way to make for an amazing wedding anniversary outing. True to their brochure, its is a... More

Wow! What a place! This truly was a treat for us... When we arrived the friendliest ladies greeted us like we were long lost friends, and we felt welcomed in a second! Our "room" for this night was a house, big enough for a family. Attached bathroom and hot water, after a safari there was nothing more we could wish... More

Maili Saba is a very special place. It is a tented camp of high standard with breathtaking views of the crater. But this is just one of the best bits. The staff here are some of the most welcoming, friendly and helpful staff that I have encountered. To top it all the food was just mouthwatering. What a place! I... More

Our stay at Maili Saba Camp, on the lip of the Menengai Crater, was by sheer accident. Our 3rd point of stay during our week-long visit to Kenya was supposed to be in Lake Nakuru. However, at the 12th hour, on account of closure of some rooms in the scheduled lodge, we were accommodated in Maili Saba Camp. We came... More

We were lucky to have Room no. 10, right at the crater. What a jaw dropping view! Nothing more peaceful than wake up early and watch the sunrise or catch a sunset later at the day. The food the restaurant serves is seriously jummie! Decent portions of top quality. And last but not least, the warm and friendly staff is... More
