nothing much to say, 2 nights stay..the room was ok for me, however the service and the staff especially at the front desk - very poor!for muslim travelers, please do not forget to bring your 'telekung' because this hotel cannot provide it for you..not even one..thank you,

This is a great hotel. Unlike some others, the air and water are clean, and the lobby and surrounds do not smell of cigarettes and cheap floor polish. It has great ambience. For us it was mainly a staging post to other places - to explore the turtle islands and then as an overnight before leaving for Sukau. We visited Sandakan to see the Orangutans, probiscus monkeys and the War memorial park. We saw all of the above in a day trip organised through the hotel and were very satisfied. One of the best hotel in Sadakan known as the Sabah Hotel, located just a short distance of 5 minutes away from town. Sabah Hotel is known to be the only hotel in Sandakan to have a swimming pool! The place is relaxing, quiet and with excellent service. I stayed in the Exective Parlour floor. The room is very spacious.
