We stayed here for 3 nights and found it way to short. It was the first time we were sad to leave. Such a beautiful setting, wonderful beach, beautiful sea and nice corals. We saw sea-turtles and during the last night one turtle come on shore to lay here eggs. Food is good. Rooms are nice with an outdoor bathroom.... More

I was a bit hesitant to come here initially cause there was very little information about this place, and after a month of trying to reserve and book a room with no luck. In the end, we decided to just try our luck and show up, and it worked out beautifully. I don't even know where to begin, from the... More

We came to redang and amannagappa after som time in KL and at Borno. We wasn't shure if this was the paradise that we where looking for, but this was to be proven wrong! Amannagappa and the staff will give you some incredible days! Ok, the standard of the hotel isn't the best you will find, I can read that... More

We were very excited to go to Amannagappa after reading all the good reviews but we were very disappointed. Good things: - The beach is beautiful! - Room are really two steps from the beach! - Staff is nice Bad things: - the cook is not a "professional". The food is ok, but it's always the same (both at lunch... More

A great end to our holiday in Malaysia. We had spent 2 weeks travelling from KL to Perhentian and then Redang. It's a small resort - basic rooms and bathrooms - (don't look too closely at the mattresses!) but the staff were very friendly and accomodating. It is an "all-inclusive" resort in that you can help yourself to coffee/tea/soft drinks... More

This is an amazing place. It is a very small resort (only 10 units), therefore very relaxed and extremely nice and helpfull staff. There is realy no place to go to, but after trekking through the country a perfect stop to enjoy the deep blue see, very fine white sandbeaches, the sun (we had every day blue skies) and the... More

We were not sure if this was going to be the right place to stay for us, but it was. Rooms were great right on the beach. The beach was fantastic, beautiful sand and wayer. Staff were great. I would fully recommend.

Utter paradise, tranquility, simplicity and lovely staff who are always smiling and so helpful. best place to stay on Redang island by far. Our mouths fell open as we arrived by boat from the mainland and the water is the most beautiful turquoise I have ever seen. Enjoy.

Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday for 3 nights and this little stretch of sand in Redang is just one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen (Maldives included). The sand is fine, clean and white and the water is clean, clear and has amazing hues of blue. Sure, the set up is simple, but it's... More

Me and my girlfriend spent three nights at Amannagappa in April and it was one of the highlights of our trip around Malaysia and Singapore. We found the place here on Tripadvisor, having just a few reviews, but based on what we read it sounded great. Sure, the prices may seem a bit steep but the tranquility and secluded feel... More
