The Timoty is 2 star hotel by western standards but its the best in Tiraspol, very friendly receptionist, rooms are pretty basic, It's the best in Tiraspol. Very pricey for what you get but its really a monopoly situ. The hotel hotels are worse.Some rooms have jacuzzi, and larger beds.

I traveled to Transnistria on Jan. 19, 2009 with purpose of visiting distant relatives living in Tiraspol. The city has totally three hotels with Timoty being the newest one (since 2001).
