Pooring rain in the Atlas and a very sunny welcome from the new French owners; excellent service, confortable rooms with hot water, a good bed and some good food; 5 minutes walk from the Kzar (the local very typical kasbah) and a 20 minutes drive fron Ouarzazate
This is a no frills hotel. The beds are reasonably comfortable but our bathroom was cold and the tap didn't work properly. We didn't even try to use the shower. The food was ok, and we couldn't complain given that nothing else was open. It was nice to have a vegetarian option for dinner but it was fairly bland.
Rooms are 3-star standard, owners are very friendly and welcoming. Several guides and reviews recommend this hotel especially for the supposedly "very good" food. While the food was certainly good and above average it could not fulfill the high expectations set by such raves. Scratch the "very" then your expectations will be more in line with reality.
The hostesses were very friendly and the two salons were beautifully decorated. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus and the hotel was easy to find - about 3 hours from Marrakech and half an hour from Ouarzazate. Definitely a nicer town to stay in than Ouarzazate if you plan on exploring the area. The included breakfasts were more than...

We rolled into this small town, with no real plan, and found ourselves in the sort of place that defines hospitality. Hind, who is married to the owner, not only sat down with us after dinner but gave us excellent suggestions of places to visit and offered to call ahead to make reservations. Her english is flawless (so much so,...

A nice, quiet place where to relax after a day of exploring. The owner is very amicable, and try to make you feel comfortable all the time, but giving you space. You can ask him for suggestions also. Good luck! Enjoy!
We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend. It was nice, and came with a friendly welcome. The rooms are fairly basic but I still thought it was good value. It's also useful to find somewhere with a restaurant and a card machine to avoid trying to find an ATM! Would recommed as a good place in BenHaddou.
It's not a chic hotel (no wonder given the price) but a very convenient night stop to visit Ait Benhaddou. Our room was rather basic but not small. No a/c (didn't need that in the middle of September) but functional free wi-fi.
Had a very warm welcome by the owners HInd and Aurelien and a very tasty dinner (chicken tagine)....

Our itinerary, unfortunately, only allowed a one night stay. We would have happily stayed longer. Aurelien and Hind provided an enormous welcome which was followed by a well needed cold beer, fabulous food and a stargazing delight from the terrace. Hind also managed to fix the car boot. We stayed in 7 hotels during our stay in Morocco - this...
