This accommodation was booked for us by Experience It tours. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. Great attention to detail is evident in the interior decoration and the dar has a cosy, homely atmosphere that is enhanced by the attentive but non-intrusive staff. I was ill when I arrived at Meziana and this was a... More

Stayed here in April with half board at Casa Hassan and really enjoyed our room. We stayed on the top floor ant it was very secluded and peaceful with an amazing view out over the city. Very friendly hotel staff and parking not too far away outside the medina. Good breakfast! Probably wouldn't do the half board again as Casa... More

My daughter and I were received by staff @ Dar Meziana with tons of hospitality - The lobby /lounge/dining area is superb! tiny yet cosy. The room was a dream come true. The shower and bathroom facilities - beautiful. The decor, as Moroccan as it gets. Breakfast was delicious. The ladies in the kitchen , management, everyone had a great... More

My partner and I stayed at Dar Meziana for two nights at the beginning of our trip to Morocco. Our hotels were all organised for us so we didn't have any trouble with bills etc that other people have mentioned. The riad is up a steep hill, which disconcerted us when we first arrived, but the whole of the Chefchouen... More

My partner and I just spent a wonderful three days at Dar Meziana, and I can highly recommend it! It is located very close to Bab Souk, one of the medina gates - it's at the end of the second alley to the left after entering through the gate, so it's in a quiet and secluded location that's still convenient... Beautiful hotel, great service (they give you cookies and tea to welcome you), nice breakfast.. my biggest problem was choosing the room because all of them where different and exquisite. It is a bit expensive for the prices in the city but its worth it. Make sure you ask for directions to get there or be ready to tip some... More

I don't remember feeling that Dar Meziana was overpriced. We thoroughly enjoyed staying our two nights here. We had a small, windowless room, but it was tastefully decorated. Didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed dinners at the nearby Casa Hassan. By the way, we went and checked in at Casa Hassan, then... More

OVERPIRCED! I stayed in the 'patio room' the staff sat out on the patio all night smoking, joking and being generally annoying. The staff are unfriendly and take ages to do anything. the staff rip you off... on and off the menu!!

Staff are highly educated, tech-savvy young folks who are extremely helpful in dealing with emergencies and in providing professional regional tour assistance if wanted without being pushy. The hotel is a dream-like combination of Morocco, Puerta Vallarta and Berkeley, California, with colorful folk detail in every corner. The half board plan is a deal. The pathway leading up to the...
