After the never-ending bustle of the cities, and many days of travelling; Riad Aicha was a haven. The brothers made us feel very much at home: telling us about the region, the people, the language, and even bringing us to a music festival! Trekking into the desert by camel and sleeping beneath the stars amid the dunes in an Amazigh(Berber)... More

The Riad is fairly good, the food is delicious, the rooms are nice constructed with the typical desert style, you feel in a real family house. The staff is very friendly and helpful for activities and other services, great location with a nice view of the dunes at the roof top!

The hotel is very cozy and clean in a very beautiful berber decor, with all commodities just in the middle of the desert. It is the perfect place to stay, and definetly the hotel where I'll stay next time I go to Merzouga. The owners of the hotel (thank you Ibrahim and family) will help you in anything you need,... The place is fantastic, rooms are confortable and nicely arranged. Breakfast on the terrace with the desert view is a must! The riad organizes desert trip and the owner is ready to assist you in any need. The Riad is easily reachabe by car, no 4x4 needed. Keep in mind that Merzouga is just a small village so if you... Having traveled the long distance from Marrakech to Merzouga in one day to see the famous Sahara dunes, we were very tired on arrival. Our host, Abraham, was especially kind from check-in, to unexpectedly guiding us around the dunes at sunset, to providing our delicious dinner. He was on duty the next morning as well making sure we were taken... More

Most people tend to go to Merzouga, but just before Merzouga you can find this lovely village, cleaner and less touristic than Merzouga. The place to stay is Riad Aicha, run by a berber family, Ibrahim and Said are running this cosy riad, named after their beautiful mother Aicha. You will feel soon part of the family, Ibrahim and Said... More
