A mix up in the Contintental Getways package caused myself, my husband and friends to be put into the Plaza Andina. We were stuck and it is not a hotel that we would have chosen. The very small front lobby felt like it had cast off furniture. The rooms on the first floor were very noisy -because they were situated... More

This hotel was booked for us by our trekking company (Llama Path), and it definitely was not one we would have picked on our own. The good - it was clean, the toilet had a sterilized seal on it (and it looked and smelled clean), the shower was hot, and the staff was pleasant and efficient. I could not connect... More

The rooms are quite average and the hotel is a bit run down. Breakfast was very basic. Overall the value was good however I likely would not choose this hotel again. The staff was helpful and tere was free wifi.

The hotel is situated between the railway line an the river, although is convenient for getting around the area. However, the noise of the river was impossible to dampen; it was like sleeping next to a loud air-conditioner, and was not conducive to restful sleeping. The room was fairly comfortable, but the bathroom was not very clean, with water stains... More

We stayed here for one night in June, 2012. This is a good option for a not terribly expensive hotel, and the room was very clean and the breakfast was decent. The hotel is located on a narrow street right next to the train, and it was pretty easy to walk into "town." Request a room with a "river view"... More

This hotel was booked for us by our travel agency. My basic requests were for hot water and free wi-fi. Those are the only good things I can say about the hotel, besides the fact that they had someone meet us at the train to bring us to the hotel. We stayed at the end of the rainy season (beginning... I traveled to Aguas Calientes with a friend on March 10th, and while we did not choose the hotel (it was included in a tour), we were very pleased. The room was very clean, and even though it was small, it had everything we needed. It was very comfortable, and there was a safe and a hairdryer in the room.... More

After losing track of our reservation, the owner (not even in town at the time) would not honour the additional "offers" he had made months earlier. And the place was mostly empty at the time! Room was so-so at best, but clean and the bathroom (hair dryer ripped off the wall!) was recently renovated. Price was very high for what... More

We stayed two nights at the Plaza Andina which is owned by Everclin a very helpful english speaker. Aguas Calientes as all the reviews say is not the prettiest place. The hotel is at the top of the steep Ave Pachacutec which is fine if someone else is carrying your bags! We had been taken to the wrong hotel and... More
