The location is great; right by the buses to Machu Piccu. The town however is so small that being that close too the buses really doesn't mean much; it might save you a 5 minute walk in the morning. The staff didn't speak English very well, I had emailed them to have someone meet me at the train station. They... More

This is a small, family-run hotel. It is squeaky clean. The folks running it are reasonably friendly, though we had trouble getting enough toilet paper, and had to ask several times. The breakfast was good, but a little limited. The location is very convenient--- then again, Aguas Calientes is so small it's hard for anything to be inconvenient. Speaking of... More

Nice hotel near to the busses to Machu Picchu and across the souvenir market. Clean rooms and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was not very special, but was OK. They can prepare you a lunch package which is very good, with sandwiches, boiled eggs, drinks and energy bars. If you want to visit Machu Picchu and leave Aguas Calientes the... More

We found the staff to be very nice and helpful. They greated us when we arrived late at night from the train station, oriented us, and provided a good overview of what we would need to do for the morning (when to leave, where to catch the bus, breakfast times, etc.). We were able to safely store our luggage (a... More

La Pequena Casita is a great hotel for what it is worth and is very well priced for the amities it provides. Please note, this is not a high-end luxury hotel and those expecting it to be will be disappointed. If you are looking for a decent priced hotel and are just staying a few nights to visit Machu Picchu,... More

We were met at the station as promised and walked the 100 metres through the handicraft market to the hotel. They happily let us change rooms to one not directly by the stairs, so that it should be quieter as we were staying 2 nights and not needing to get up very early. The three rooms we looked at were... We stayed here the night before we went to Machu Picchu. It was perfect for what we needed - clean, safe, affordable, and convenient. The hotel is close to the downtown and train station and seconds from the bus pick up/ drop off for Machu Picchu. Yeah the room was slightly small and breakfast unspectacular but we really didnt care.... More

The worst hotel I have ever had. Ugly room, old furniture and dirty curtains. Furthermore, NO HOT WATER! Breakfast with no options, just coffee with milk and bread.

We only stayed one night but found this small hotel to be an excellent choice. Rooms were large, modern, very clean, hot water, great location(by buses to Maccu Picchu) and a great value at $54 per night. We stored our luggage at 400am the following day, no problems or worries. Helpful and accurate information about the ruins from the staff.... More

After I CONFIRMED a reservation with Luz Marina through email, she requested the time I would arrive on the train that day. I informed her (twice) that we had not yet bought our train tickets, but we would certainly arrive by 11pm. She never responded, but since we had emailed back and forth several times, I thought it would be... More
