Rooms are nice, the view is awesome, everything was very nice until we tried the food. It looks and tastes bad, both on dinner and breakfast. After leaving this place I had diarrhea for 2 days, which is really upsetting during you vacation. Nice place if you don't eat there.

We spent one night at the Peak residence. Staff were friendly and the views over Kandy were beautiful but the rooms were tired and dirty. Lots of giant cockroaches and the bathroom had an overwhelming smell of damp. The hotel is a short tuk tuk ride away from the lake.
