“Nice enough place.”

Rajith, the hotel manager is a cool dude. Always smiling and very helpful. Nimesh, the cook does a top job in the kitchen. The rooms were clean and ours was pretty big. It's a little bit out of the way, perched up on the top of the hill but it is super peaceful up there. We fell asleep each night... More

“Avoid this place”

Sewer gas coming up through the drain, 1 sheet on the bed (ask for and got a 2nd), ridiculous large furniture that you did not want to touch, and mothballs in the armoire that were foul. Even at $60 this was a horrible place.

very good, comfortable, clean, for a budget traveler this is an exceptional bed and breakfast, ideal for long walks, close to the city centre, and travel connections to other cities way to go Madani and Team.

Only planned to stay 1 day in Kandy, but liked this place so much we ended up staying 3 days. Rooms were basic, a few grubby marks on the walls but otherwise fine for about US$20-25. The guest house was very cozy and friendly. It was very luxurious and traditional Sri Lankan style. The location was great and had a beatuiful view, very relaxing and quiet area. The Forest Villa is a unique hotel,rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious, we couldn't have any other meals than breakfast at the hotel due to tight tour plan, but breakfast was delicious. ““Excellent location, great breakfast, great service””

We liked everything in FoRest Villa hotel and it was very cosy. Location was very good and rooms were spacious, although the decoration was special. They served American breakfast which was superb, The Manager, Madani was extremely helpful and gave us all we needed! I would go back to FoRest Villa.
