We stayed 3 nights at Blinkbonnie. The rooms are clean, with individual balcony and nice view. Not far from the lake and the center, maybe 15mn walk. Restaurant provides also good rice & curry. Moreover, the staff is very helpful and that was very much appreciated when we lost a smartphone in a tuktuk late in the evening ! Definitely a... More

Room was a little shabby but perfectly adequate, but the real star was the food - I had some of my best meals ever here - I throughly recommend the fried banana flowers and pumpkin curry. We had an upstairs room (on the same level as reception) with a beautiful view over Kandy from our balcony for a very reasonable... More

We had a great view from our room at Blinkbonnie, and the room was large, clean and tidy. The manager Steven was very attentive as were all his staff. We enjoyed the breakfasts, and found the hotel to be very accommodating when we decided to head to Sigiriya for one night, leaving our big bags at Blinkbonnie.

The rooms are basic, a lot of mould in the bathroom on the walls, felt they could have cleaned this off with some bleach, we did have hot water which was a bonus after our previous hotel. We had one evening meal the day we arrived, that was enough we ate out after that, unfortunately my husbands chicken was not cooked... The room was airy, large, and clean. The manager was really nice, and gave us our space when deciding whether to take the place. The rooms have great views of the city, and easily accessible by walking up from the lake, or a quick 150 Rs tuk-tuk ride from the bottom of the hill/train station.

I cannot fault the staff at Blinkbonnie Inn, they are superb and will go out of their way to ensure you are looked after. The Inn also offers reasonably priced tours to the surrounding tourists attractions complete with private driver. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, views and kind and warm service. Stayed over during The Essala Perehera in 2007. Short walk to numerous other villas, excellent traditional Ayurvedic spa and beautiful views over The Sacred Lake, Sri Dalaga Maligawa and not so far from the Golden Buddha. Walking is recommended to downtown is recommended although tuk tuk back up the hill is super... More

A great guesthouse, we stayed for 3 days and found it very reasonable with very clean rooms. Wonderful views of kandy from the balcony of our room. The guest house also offers tours for the cultural triangle for a reasonable rate. We had a good driver for our trips. Stephen the owner looked after us very well.

This place has a fantastic view in top of the hill overlooking the quieter part of town and lake. The manager was friendly and helpful, but not incredibly informative. After staying in a few guest houses and having no menu at the restaurant, it was nice to be offered a menu with prices, but when ordering, most choices were not... More

we stayed 5 days in this guest house and are truly satisfied, we miss our room and Stephen's hospitality already! there's nothing better than a clean room and i think at the Blinkbonnie Tourist Inn you could eat from the floor. Stephen is in our top ten list of hosts!
