Once at the Playa Tortuga we were shown 2 adjacent rooms with an overbearing smell of Pine Sol disinfectant and fresh Paint in the hall permeating into the room with a door lock on one room that was inoperable. We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. Coming to Panama means you will not be mad with slow service. That's part of the experience. They don't do it on purpose it's just the way they are. Hotel room is very nice and pool is wonderful. Restaurant could have a few more options. Food is ok, just ok.

Wonderful hotel in an incredible spot on Earth. The view from the balcony is fabulous, the pool is clean and the service is great. The food could be better and I didn't always get what I actually ordered. Bocas Town is just a stone-throw away and costs 2 dollars per person.

We were very pleased with the hotel here and I think all rooms provided a beautiful view of the beach and beautiful pool. The room was clean. We were able to take excursions to other islands easily. We felt we had a great vacation.
