Pleasant stay, very homely - home-cooked meals, a personal touch. A bit wanting on the upkeep though. Rooms had dust, toilet door could not be closed shut; some electrical fittings were loose. The home-feel tended to mollify the shoddiness. Upmarket location (today, though the colony was created as a middle-class settlement); very close to most of Delhi's happening spots. Personal-owned... Stayed here last week for two nights and we were quite satisfied on the whole. The 'home stay' is located in a friendly, fairly quiet neighborhood, with a small park just across the street. We had two rooms (2 older couples traveling together) on the ground floor, and they were quite noisy. After long days of sightseeing we needed our... More

Megha home stay made a fantastic start for our 23 days trip throughout India. We were a group of 14 young travelers, traveling in India during March-Apr 2012. Prior to our trip, we started looking for Home Stays in Delhi where we could enjoy a sense of Indian home and feel at home. Of all the Home Stays we found... More

The hotel was fantastic! The only downside was that it wasn’t walking distance from anything so we had to take cabs all the time. That wasn’t too bad, but it’s in a residential area so when we were returning the drivers often had trouble finding it. But the location also meant it was quiet, and it certainly felt more secure.... My husband and I are in our mid 60s. It was our first trip to India and having back packed all over the place we thought this trip would be similar. We chose Megha Homestay from the good reviews on TA. On our arrival at Delhi we were picked up straight away and driven to the homestay. We thought a... More

My husband and 3 of his family spent a lovely few days in Megha. Aman made my mother in law feel at home and was very helpful in terms of assisting with our onward travel plans and transport. He has some fantastic drivers, especially Ram who is a star and a brilliant driver. The property is in a nice quiet... More

The Megha Homestay was our first port of call in India. Having never been to India before, we weren't sure what a homestay might be like. It's only after staying in others that we realised the it wasn't quite as welcoming as you might like. Aman is a nice man who is very helpful but is often not there. The... More

Had a great stay in Megha in december last year. Aman is a very helpful man, and he knows many good ways to form a personal tour with private guide if nessary. And don´t forget to eat at Megha. Great kitchen!

I stayed for a couple of days in December 2011 and January 2012; it is situated in a nice and quiet neighborhood across the street of a park. The owner and the staff are very helpful and will do everything they can to make you feel at home. The rooms (I had three) are nice and clean and the food... More

I stayed at Megha Homestay on Feb 21, 2012. Words cannot express the genuine hospitality of Aman, his lovely Family, and the employees there. I have never visited India before. I am well traveled and was a flight attendant for about 4 years. I have stayed in many different hotels. The service and hospitality that i received surpasses any that... More
