The Taj Palace, New Delhi is my new favourite hotel. I travel a lot for work as do many of my colleagues and we agree that this is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in the world. It has a beautiful but not gaudy lobby with extremely friendly and helpful (but not too fussy) staff and has a... More

I stayed here on the Club Floor for just over a week. This hotel overall is very good but it could do with an update. The carpets have seen better days, but the rest of my room was very comfortable and the housekeeping was up to standard. The Forest Essentials bathroom products are pleasant but don't use the conditioner. Unlike... More

An interesting 5-star hotel located a bit out of the way the city, but with good access to the city center. The standard hotel as a hotel of this class, very good facilities, such as flat screen TV. Unfortunately, the internet is here paid. More

Full disclosure, I lived at this hotel for almost a year. Upon relocating to Delhi I asked a colleague where he'd choose to have his mother stay - he suggested the Taj Palace without hesitation. I'm so glad that he did. Having been back many, many times I can tell you that it just keeps getting better. Much time and... More

Staying here for a night at the beginning and end of a tour of the GoldenTriangle. The welcome from the staff was amazing - everyone smiling, saying hello and a refreshing fruit drink was offered whil waiting for keys. I never saw my luggage from the airport until it was delivered to my room. My room was spotless ... and... More

The rooms aren't as large as you might expect (I was luckily upgraded and ended up staying on the Taj Club level) but they are pretty nice and the staff can't do enough for you. The spa and the pool facilities are beautifully appointed. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Yes the hotel is expensive and there's uber-high security, but... More

This is easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. After booking a package, I was initially a bit worried about some negative comments from reviewers here and on other travel sites that seemed to always center on the noisiness of ongoing renovations at the Taj Palace. The service was excellent, specially in the lobby lounge, where we... More

This has to rate as one of the world's truly great hotels, and the service is out of this world. In fact if other hotels want to find out how to 'get it right" in the hotel business, they should come and see what happens here. The staff are fantastic, and they ask you for your room number in the... More

This is one of the best hotels in Delhi. I have stayed several times. The food is good, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice. It is clean, tidy and well set out! None of that means a thing though when you are constantly woken up!. Many people, like me are trying to sleep during the day,... More

This hotel is wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of luxury. Courteous staff, ever smiling. Personally taking you to your room is a nice touch. Try to get a renovated room as the window seals can be a little bad and leak noise if you face the street. Levels 4/5 are good. Beware that some... More
