The building, the gardens, the view, the palace in general is beautiful but inside nothing works as a real royal hotel. The room was dirty, even the bed linen. We didnt realize Lalitha Mahal is the No. 2 palace in Mysore.It's set in a sprawling and isolated campus but well kept. Tourist pass by everyday, they have tough time knowing who's guest vs. visitor. Food - too expensive.
