I have been in that hotel twice, each time for 2 weeks. The room and the crew are nice, clean and comfortable, but I find this hotel unreliable. We booked a room and we got a complete different room. a cheaper one of course. A guy that came just after us and had a booked room had been told that... More

i stayed at this hotel late december and the hotel was TERRIBLE! the service was terrible, the buffet was a joke; as it had merely 5 dishes available. we booked two rooms, which they forgot; meaning two of us had to sleep on the floor in our parents room. the staff were cheeky, as they asked for a tip everytime... This was undoubtedly the worst hotel I ever stayed. Food was horrible, staffs were very cunning (overcharging seems to be a normal thing here), no ambience, furnishing wasnt worth the money, complimentary breakfast was just namesake LOL, very congested lobby (no lobby at all)... A no-no visit for anyone. More

The room was OK, nothing special. Over all the only thing good about this hotel is the location, which is excellent. The staff at the front desk were very unhelpful. They rolled their eyes when you asked them a question. If you wanted to change money, ask about a car, or any question, they didn't want to help you. The... More

We experienced one quite serious problem with this hotel: they try to give people cheaper rooms than they have actually prepaid for. We had prepaid for a deluxe room and was given a much cheaper room at our late arrival - and told it was a deluxe room when we were a bit astonished over the poor quality of the... More

In short, the following aspects were very poor: 1) Despite the website says it is a non-smoking room, you are allowed to smoke in every single area of the hotel, including the rooms 2) The bed was totally not comfortable 3) The room I was placed in, was at the end of the hallway where some construction work was going... We had two main concerns with regard to housing in Mumbai: we wanted a good location and to not have to worry about bed bugs. Sea Palace met those expectations. The location was within walking distance of everything in Colaba, and there's nothing like seeing the sparkling ocean out the front door as you step outside in the morning--the views... More

The location is unbeatable, right down the street from the Taj hotel and a stones throw from the Gateway of India. It is an easy walk to all sites in Colaba, Fort and Churchgate area. The hotel rooms are clean and simple. The water is hot and the water pressure is adequate, but can be poor during peak hours. The... More

I stayed for 6 nights in late December 2011 at a total cost of approx. 300 pounds sterling (taxes included), which was the cheapest I could find for the season and in the area. Their email communication before I arrived - in response to queries I had about room amenities and breakfast foods - was pretty poor. But when I... More

So filthy, terrible service and construction literally ON MY DOOR the next morning at 8 am after getting in at 4:30 am...they lost the Expedia confirmation and I slept in my clothes because the sheets were so filthy. I've been in many low end hotels but I have never paid so much for a hotel that was so terrible. Never... More
