The Shahpura House is a special hotel. The grand reception room is beautifully decorated with photographs showing the former owners. The bedrooms are equally wonderful. The swimming pool makes a great start or end to your day. Dancers on the roof top restaurant are talented, the food is sublime. Thank you - Fiona and Oskar
Check your bill "carefully" when checking out.
We only got printout of room charge. Credit Card charge did not add up and after dozens of emails and copies of accidentals and signed dockets, I proved we were charged for some other guest's room service which shows on docket as "Ring Mahal" (at first I thought they had charged me for...

Stayed 2 nights while on tour and was very good and sure is worth sharing with all my contacts. The hotel is beautiful, with references from the royal period right from the time you enter - a buggy welcomes you on board with a side way directing to the reception area. The rooms were brilliantly furnished with all the amenities...

Really interesting place to stay with brilliantly furnished rooms, good swimming pool and excellent restaurant (though a bit hot at the rooftop restaurant). Wonderfully eccentric but great management by Eric). A great find.

Shahpura House was fantastic, great price, great atmosphere, great staff, great breakfast, great meals at both the poolside bar and the rooftop restaurant. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Took the heritage tour organised through the hotel. Car and driver were...

My girlfriend and I stopped at Hotel Shahpura for two nights during a 3 week visit to India. We were upgraded to a Suite as it was my girlfriend’s birthday and the manager Mr Eric Williams even had a personalised cake made for her. Mr Williams was fantastic from checking us in to us leaving; he couldn’t do enough for...

Traveling solo felt very comfortable and safe here. Bonus was the free Internet
Spent 2 nights - 3 days in Jaipur and we were upgraded to the Maharajah Suite, absolutely SUPERB! The breakfasts were very good - taken in a lovely small dining room.
This hotel has been built and maintained to a very high standard. We had a Royal Suite on top floor which we could not fault, very spacious and elegant with the most comfortable four poster bed. The en-suite shower room was immaculate and very pretty and ornate. The hotel has a very nice pool area where you can dine. Staff...
