Good maintenance, Lobby looks pretty ok and wide spacious, but needs to improve a lot on service concerned. With friends, had few unforgettable moments.

Initially, I was a bit sceptical of staying here. But I must say I was surprised that the room was quite good. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. So, for those who are looking for a three star hotel in Chennai that does not cost a bomb, try Shelter!

I expect a budget hotel to get the basics right - clean rooms, clean sheets, bed & towels. This place falls a notch short of being s perfect budget hotel/lodge. To me it seems that this place was designed and set-up with the right intentions, but the execution is poor.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. Everything was good. Check in service was swift and smooth. However, restaurant and room service is bad. I would suggest you stay here as a last resort. There will be power cuts for 20 to 30 mins without the generator being switched on. You will not get hot water to take a bath. I planned a stay in this hotel. I asked for an airport pick up.I mailed these people and confirmed it. But when i reached airport with the baby no beggars from the hotel was there. I called over phone and no one replied. Please dont stay in this hotel any more. Very bad staff response.
