I reluctantly stayed here because I arrived very late from the airport with a pre-booking. The room seemed used minutes before and unsanitary. There are some very scattered staff at the reception, but they are kind and try to be helpful. Nevertheless - for the price, definitely not recommended.

I was in a short office trip. I reached in late night but I got warm welcome from the manager. Though restaurant was closed but they managed to provide me food. It was really good experience during the stay.

The Chariot is located in the heart of Chennai. Shopping centres like Spencer Plaza, Express Avenue and Ampa Skywalk are within 5km. Local bazaars and night markets are within walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly and prompt in their service. I highly recommend this place!

Very dirty and smelly hotel, bathrooms dirty, shower curtains and walls were stained and filthy. Restaurant has a mouldy smell... Overall I wouldn't go there ever again. Staff very deceitful!!! Asked them for a mobile phone top up, they collected Rs100 but never showed up with phone credit..
