For The hotel is away from the crowd. There is no traffic on the road , the main junction is good 10 mins of brisk walk. You get a fantastic view of the entire Kanchunjunga range on a clear day from the rooms. Food is well cooked. The bath is fair enough and clean. The minimal staff maybe of 2... More

The hotel offers an excellent view of the Kanchenjunga from the rooms. Located on a no-traffic road and away from the hustle-bustle of the town. Great food and friendly staff. Outstanding view--on north ridge directly facing Kachenjunga. Quiet due to being on no-traffic road. Friendly staff. However, the hotel is a holiday home for various Indian corporations, so: a. screaming children b. unfamiliarity with Western tourist expectations, like toilet paper. And since income is assured, some parts of hotel they seem to let slide--light fixtures sometimes without light bulbs, cable... More
