Mayfair Darjeeling is a beautiful property in a sadly deteriorating town. Nestled away from the crowded streets and shabby old shops and buildings, this property has an old world charm thanks to its all wood decor and priceless photographs hanging on almost all the walls ! The rooms are comfortable and tastefully done. However, the mattresses on the beds were... More

Stayed here on 30th April and 1st May. Had booked 4 rooms as we were a family. Though a bit inside from the main road this hotel is mind blowing. The landscape within, rooms, toilet, food, staff all were outstanding. This is a heritage building giving you an old world charm which has been decorated well with a modern touch.... More

We stayed in the main building in a family suite. The hotel is a lovely old world sort of hotel with charming sitting areas. Our suite had mountain views from one room, hotel view from sitting area and shrine view from other room. The staff trys very hard to be accomodating but there were a few misses. They were out... Very cosy hotel, with a homely feel to it. The rooms were very spacious and well-equipped, containing a real log fire which makes it a romantic setting. The rooms contain a dvd player, and the hotel have a very extensive collection of dvd's that you can hire for £1 per night. The hotel also has a cosy television room for... More

Stayed for 4 days/3 nites from 27th april to 30th april 2012 with family....The property is well maintained and had a real good break from our daily routine.....the room we got in orchid villa was very spacious with a separate sitin space ...the staff could be slightly more courteous at low level...Amongst the narrow lanes of darjeeling town and many... Our family of three adults spent five nights here in mid April. We were initially quite disappointed at not getting a room with a mountain view, the hotel was quite full, but the Manager promised to move us the next day. And he did, to a bigger room with a partial mountain view. Having inspected many of the rooms at... More

A very nice place to stay in. Although the entrance is a bit narrow because it was a banglow before. Rest bee assured that you will not find a place like this. Also there is tea available for sale i recommend to buy it from here as it is genuine and clean. Food is fantastic.

The hotel was another gem at the end of a road , one does not expect anything to be at the end of such a road, but what a surprise, nevermind this quality of a hotel. Service was perfect Hotel is lovely situated as one can exit the top gate and then a walking distance to the market. Rooms were... More

The hotel is very beautiful, lush green (that’s a signature of any May Fair property). I have stayed in Mayfair in Rourkella and also in Bhubaneswar. What I like the most of any Mayfair hotel is the class of hospitality and décor of the hotel, its two good. It seems that the owner and the staff are very very passionate... More
