Internet sucked. I had to use the wifi at the lobby everyday. If you rely on internet access like i do, don't stay here. Location is poor also. The surrounding area is not that great to walk about.

A happening place right in the middle of the city.
Too short a stay to write a lot about but enough to make an impact and have me thinking - i have to go back again there !! :-))

My umpteenth stay in Park Kolkata, this time after 18months though. Many new developments with regards to retaurents - coffeeshop, and also Spa overall positive changes, very good breakfast to start the day, courtious staff to help out prompt. 1 - terrible rooms. My first room for the first night did not even have plugs by the bedside. Had to bend down under a table at ground level to charge my computer and phones. Room has not been refurnished since inception decades ago i think. Felt it was the 1960's rooms...

The hotel was very pleasant with good sized bedrooms and an excellent Thai restuarant. Staff were very helpful and it was a good central location.

Not a good hotel to stay except the the location...Rooms are not maintained well and linens are not that clean...Food was okay, but not great choices....Elevators were not working and most of the time i used the staricase...may be a way to keep the customers fitness level high...Best part of the hotel is that the Hotel is in Park Street!.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, its easy to walk to places of interest from the hotel. Its a city centre hotel so expect it to be noisy outside. The hotel is trying to be trendy and modern, not sure if it actually works. Our rooms were spacious but had no view only of other rooms....

Stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2012.
Pros:
-convenient location
-hot shower with good pressure
-good breakfast buffet
-good dinner at the same restaurant where breakfast was served
-some pleasant wait staff
-manager responsive to complaints
Cons:
-loud noise from AC which staff unsuccessfully tried to repair and finally we had to move to a different room
-some rooms...
