after staying in a couple of hostels before, my expectations for hostels isnt that great but this is a ok hostel and definitely worth to stay. the hostel is clean and the important things is the price is really really cheap. Reception was very helpful and location was pretty good and convenient.

Not a bad location. Rooms smack of IKEA, small mezzanie style. Free WiFi if you can get on it. Showers and toilets clean. Not very friendly. Doors on rooms are all sliding consetina style, not that secure. Cheap, clean and comfy bed.

The owners of Sayang Sayang are the biggest snakes in Melaka. If you want to give your money to honest, respectable business people go somewhere else. There are plenty of nice guest houses and hostels in Melaka Chinatown - my advice is to choose one of them.
