Stayed for 2 nights. Found the hosts great, rooms comfortable and location good. Value for money, this place ticked all the boxes. Owners were always friendly and happy to help. Only a short walk to the attractions and good restaurants.

We had actually booked three nights at Old Town Guesthouse based on the reviews in TripAdviser, but the only room available was Room 4, which was not acceptable to my wife, as she is Chinese. This Guesthouse is now under new management, and no longer run by the Frenchman. As the room could not be changed, we moved next door... More

we stayed 3 nights at karims place. first we booked another hostel but it turned out that karims' nicer and much cleaner! we were surprised how clean the rooms and bathrooms were! the price was really ok, we paid 40ringgits for a double room (including breakfast and wifi) the only thing to complain are the windows because you can not... I spent 3 nights at Karim's place with my husband and teenage son and we were really satisfied with the room.
